Account Executive – Hybrid

The Account Executive is responsible for the sales and promotion of Imaging Technologies and Communications Group (ITCG) photographic and printer products through an established dealer network (Retail and Photo Specialty), account development, and ongoing monitoring of account performance. This position also acts as a Canon brand ambassador, prioritizing the retention and expansion of the existing account base while meeting and exceeding sales expectations.
Key Key Responsibilities:
- Serving as the lead point of contact between Canon and our retail partners.
- Engaging, devising, and implementing appropriate strategies to attain and exceed sales quota for assigned products and retailers.
- Creating and coordinating effective marketing and promotional plans, and monitoring results
- Forecasting sales and developing short- and long-term plans for activities and events within the assigned territory.
- Negotiating sales and marketing proposals with retail partners in order to achieve desired results within the assigned budget.
- Deliver basic product and industry knowledge training to dealer sales associates.
- Providing ongoing feedback on account performance, including timely and accurate forecasts.
- Perform sales administrative duties by responding to inquiries about orders, credits, returns, chargebacks, etc.
- Participating in trade shows and sales meetings.
- Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
To Succeed, You Will Need:
- Post-secondary education
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience
- Refined analytical skills to review historical sales and compare with forecasts/projections to prepare dealer projections
- Refined project/process management skills to implement in-store merchandising
- Refined time management/multi-tasking skills are required to meet internal and customer objectives.
- Intermediate computer/technical skills are required to use PowerPoint/Google Slides and vlookups, pivot tables, and basic cel/Google Sheets.
- Intermediate equipment operation skills to operate cameras, video equipment and printers

- The role is an outside face-to-face sales role. You will be in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays each week, unless required to be at a customer’s location. Sales is expected to maximize their time at customer locations and the remaining time, you will be able to work from a home workspace.
- When not in the field and working from home, a reliable internet connection is required. We support remote work with cloud-based applications and collaboration tools

The base pay actually offered may vary based upon the candidate’s skills and experience, job-related knowledge, geographic location, and other specific business and organizational needs.
- On Target Earnings (OTE) $80,000-120,000 annually (uncapped commission). Actual OTE is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
